‘I am thrilled with my subscription to Slightly Foxed. It’s fantastic: affectionate and beautifully written reviews of great books previously unknown to me. I look forward to a summer of splendid reading.’ – C. Crisford, UK
Greetings from Hoxton Square, where we’ve been coping with the recent heatwave by popping out for ice cream runs and putting the fans on full blast – which has created a slight occupational hazard with paperwork flying around the office.
It’s not only the recent sunny spell that has put us in the mood for summer . . . We are thrilled to report that the new issue of Slightly Foxed, with a glorious cover by Dale Bissland, left the printing press at Smith Settle last week and should already have arrived with many subscribers around the world, or will do so shortly.
For those of you who are on a repeat order to receive our new limited-edition memoir each quarter, your usual hand-numbered copy of The Railway Man by Eric Lomax should also be on its way.
We are also delighted to announce that this season’s Bookshop of the Quarter is now live on our website. Hestia Books, this summer’s selection, is particularly special to us as it was set up by Foxed alumni Jess Dalby. More details can be found at the bottom of this page.
Please do scroll on to find out more about this quarter’s offerings.
With best wishes from the SF staff
