The Halesworth Bookshop & Slightly Foxed present Richard Hawking & Professor Jules Pretty in conversation at The Cut

A Countryman’s Winter Notebook is a new collection of essays by the late Adrian Bell who wrote about the people and the places of the East Anglian countryside in the Eastern Daily Press in a series of weekly columns from 1950 to 1980. Compiled and introduced by Richard Hawking and produced by Slightly Foxed as a collectable hardback edition, most of these essays have never been republished until now. With illustrations by Suffolk artist Beth Knight.
