‘I continue to sing the praises of this publication . . .’

‘Again, another great read, despite being only halfway through. The quality of the articles has prompted me to make a couple of purchases, but I always have a niggling doubt as to whether I want to read the books because of the books themselves, or really because of the way the books are presented by your writers. Please do not take this as a criticism, only as an observation. I continue to sing the praises of this publication to friends and family etc, and I know that a good friend of mine recently subscribed based on my relentless “going on about it”. I love the look and feel of the mag and particularly love the cover design. Marvellous.’

‘It has been a great pleasure . . .’

‘It has been a great pleasure to read your summer edition of Slightly Foxed. To meet so many old friends over my early morning cup of tea has been a lasting stimulus throughout the day. Although forced to ‘give up my day job’ over 20 years ago, life seems more hectic than ever. The cover picture, and internal illustrations, especially Malgudi Station, are superb, and the print-size, paper colour and general format are all most attractive.’

‘I continue to revel in the variety and excellence of your magazine . . .’

‘May I say how much I have enjoyed your books – especially My Grandmother and I – and how much I continue to revel in the variety and excellence of your magazine (AND the treasured back numbers, which I re-read with fresh enjoyment). But I worry that you may have set yourself too hard a task in having to find a fresh book so often?? Or should I be serenely confident? I do hope so!’
