Andrew Gifford is recognized for his innovative paintings and light installations based on the landscape.
His work has been widely exhibited in the UK, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Houston and is included in the collections of the New Art Gallery in Walsall, Chatsworth House and private collections in Europe, the USA and Asia.
In the spring of 2024, he embarked on a long-standing project to paint the thin strip of Atlantic rainforest that runs from Cornwall to Scotland. Working on location in the woods, his studies set out to capture the dense, lush flora of these precious pockets of woodland.
The resulting large-scale canvases and studies were exhibited in London in November 2025.
