EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)

The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) came into effect on December 13, 2024. Since that date, all consumer products sold within the EU are subject to its regulations.

At Slightly Foxed Ltd. we are committed to ensuring that all products we produce and sell comply with safety requirements. Books, magazines and other printed matter are considered to be a low safety risk. As publishers, to comply with GPSR we are required to have an EU authorised representative, for whom contact details must be provided on the book itself or its packaging. At Slightly Foxed Ltd. we are opting to enclose a slip bearing the details of our EU representative within the packaging for orders being shipped to the EU, and not on the item itself.

If you have any questions about the GPSR or the safety of any products you purchase from Slightly Foxed Ltd. please do contact our office team: [email protected] | Information regarding our EU authorised representative, and the titles we sell that are produced by other publishers may be found further down the page.

Book Bags

Unfortunately we are unable to ship our Cotton Tote Bags and Jute Book Bags to the EU due to EU-specific product safety regulations regarding fabric testing protocols. If you do make a purchase for a book bag to be shipped to an EU address, the office team will be in touch to organise a refund for that item, or arrange for the bag to be delivered to a UK or another non-EU address for you. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Other Publishers’ Books

At Slightly Foxed Ltd. we also sell a range of books produced by other publishers. Stock of these titles for onward sale is procured from Gardners Books Ltd. [email protected]
