Slightly Foxed at Much Ado Books
We celebrated the launch of our autumn publications in the beautiful barn of our Bookshop of the Quarter, Much Ado Books in Alfriston, on a Saturday evening in September. Guests made their way beneath the utterly enchanting Book Bower, up through a garden abundant with flowers and chickens, and into the book-filled barn, where we had the jolliest of times toasting our seasonal offerings. Wine flowed, bookish chat filled the air, books flew off the shelves and tills rang. Many thanks to Nash, Cate, staff and local readers (including the charming Jacqueline Wilson) for such a wonderful and happy evening.
