Virginia Ironside is best known as an agony aunt with the Independent. She has written over fifteen books, and has been instrumental in organizing the gravestone for the writer Julian MacLaren-Ross. Her latest book, No, thanks! I’m Quite Happy Standing! was published in 2016.
