‘I had to let you know how much I’m enjoying this book, I’m so glad it finally arrived. I’ve taken the advice given about the A Countryman’s Spring Notebook articles: “Read one every morning and it will set you up for the day”, and it does, it does! The writing is delightful and so descriptive; I’m glad I have the Spring Notebook to look forward to when I’ve finished reading A Countryman’s Winter Notebook.’
