Thank you, Slightly Foxed, so much for flagging up the wonderous The Year of Miracles by Ella Risbridger. I rarely read anything foodie these days, but this sounded intriguing. I started it on a day feeling emotionally bruised and was very soon soothed and captured by her gentle fierce style and delicious recipes. Take the pressures off yourself she says and I did. the perfect summer read between serving up yet more meals to hungry children! Thank you!
