Slightly Foxed September News: What glory!

September News: What glory!

It’s the turn of the quarter once again here at Slightly Foxed and what a glorious haul the new season brings.

Thanks to the usual sterling work of Tracey and her team at Smith Settle printers in Yorkshire, the new issue of the quarterly: No. 59, ‘Manhattan Moments’, is now on its way to readers all around the world. We do hope you’ll enjoy it when it arrives.

In addition to the new issue and Slightly Foxed Edition (Jennie Erdal’s Ghosting) there’s a new Cub, Brendon Chase by BB, a new Plain Edition of Period Piece, a wall calendar for 2019, a Commonplace Book by one of your fellow readers and, although we can hardly bring ourselves to mention it, a new Christmas card design too. You’ll find links to these various offerings (and our regular selection of recent correspondence from readers) in the newsletter below.

In other news, we’ve been working on linking up our website and database over the last year and are delighted to report that the bulk of the work is now complete. We’ve a few more small tweaks and titivations to make to the system over the coming months but we do hope you’ll find it useful.

When you log in to your online account on the Slightly Foxed website you can now store payment cards, view the status of your subscriptions and update your address, and everything should be magically synced up with your record in the office. We’ll be sending out an email notice next week to those of you whose subscriptions have just expired with the new issue but if you would like to check for yourself, you can now do so by logging in to the Members’ Area of the website and visiting the My Subscriptions page in the left-hand menu.

We’ll be back at No. 53 on Monday morning and plan to have a very busy, but happy, few weeks spent packing parcels, wrestling with postbags, wielding tape-guns, twirling pens and (hopefully) corresponding with many of you over the phone, on email or by post.

Until then, we send you our very best wishes
The SF office staff – Jennie, Anna, Olivia and Hattie
